Home Depot with Jif, Please

I am still on the hunt to find cool deals for kids. As a mom, I love finding deals and discounts and as a big mouth, I love to share them. I was bouncing around last night and ran up on a few more things that might interest everyone.

Home Depot
has a program called the Kids Workshop. The first Saturday in every month, kids can go and participate in building awesome crafts. These are not your regular crafts. Your child (ages 5-12) will attend a fun "How To" clinic that teaches children how to build things like banks, bean bag toss boxes, etc.

Another major find was via Jif! Yes, the choosy moms choose Jif people! I have a really borderline unhealthy obsession with peanut butter. I make peanut butter fudge and then put peanut butter on it. I am a huge fan. I am so blessed that no one in my house is allergic because someone would have to go. I just love my peanut butter. That is why its no surprise that I was casually viewing the Jif website. Yes, I do casually visit. Now look at what I found:

Moms Voice Their Choice Contest
Jif's Most Creative Sandwich Contest (kids)
Fuel Your Game Photo and Essay Contest (Scholarship)

I am definitely entering more than one of these contests. My kids are psyched already!

When my son is older I am going to take advantage of the Home Depot workshops. I also think that Ikea has some kid activities on occasion.

I believe you are right Renee! You know Micheal's has some wondeerful craft classes also. They typically charge about $2 for supplies and they do it every Saturday. Oh and I wanted to thank you for telling me about House Music. I never heard it before but now you have me curious. You guys seem to have so much fun in Atlanta.

How fun! I bet the kids really enjoy that and they even get to take something home afterward. You'll have to let us know how it is if you go.

My son is really a big fan of Home Depot workshop. These workshops are really very useful to improve the kids talent and skills.
