Marketing Your Site and Work at Home Leads
Posted by: TRochelle in bloggers, blogs, bookkeeper, content editor, copywriter, customer service, leapforce, list builder, marketing, pharmacist, smarththinking, tutor, web editor, websitesAs you guys all know, I (like many of you) have a blog. I am thinking of going forward with some serious marketing to get my name out. It got me to thinking about merchandising again. We touched on marketing when we discussed some good colors for marketing your website or brand. This time I want to discuss other ways to market your website or blog!
One way I was thinking of marketing my own blog was through the use of t-shirts, mousepads (send those to work with loved ones), cups, etc. This will get your name out and give your current followers a way to market for you and it won't cause you anything but some promotional items. This is a great way to get others to advertise for you for free!
If you are creative, you can have your logo placed on all kinds of promotional gear with catchy sayings. Imagine a t-shirt with a catch saying on it and in the corner of the back, your website or your logo. Its something people would not mind wearing and your information is not too intrusive so they would wear it anywhere.
Having your guests pay to view certain sections of your site is also a wonderful way to monetize your blog or website. For instance, let's say you have something that people will really want to know. Give them a preview of it and charge them to get more!
Donations are always a great way to make money on your site. If you love a site then its only natural to want to support them. People who believe in paying it forward will gladly support your cause.
Another way to market is to write a book. If people love what you have to say in your blog or website, they might want to see it in writing for those moments when they cannot get to a computer. This is a good method for a person who gives valuable information that might be great for the masses. You can self-publish through a company called Lulu. Who knows, you might be a great author and you don't even know it!
You could also get a sponsor! Imagine writing about something that you picked from a list and naturally writing about it, once you have written about it and inserted the necessary links, you get paid! Now imagine no more. These are called sponsored posts. Sponsored posts can bring in a nice amount of extra income.
I know what you are thinking, links would be useful. If that is your thought then maybe I might be able to market after all. I have just drawn you in and made you want to tune in tomorrow for more elaboration of some of these topics!

Meanwhile, get to applying!!!

Being a writer at heart, imagine my delight when I saw a ton of writing jobs available for those who want to work at home. I figured I would share my tip on submitting writing submissions.
When submitting a story for submission, its important to format properly. Following submission guidelines is one thing, but there are a few tips you should follow to make sure you are on the right path.
Cover letters are important. Its highly important to write a cover letter for your submission detailing a biographical history or a brief synopsis of the story you are submitting.
Publishers do not want the feeling that you are a machine that can only follow directions. You want to make sure your submission has life.
In the top left margin, enter your name, address, phone number, and email address as a header on each page.
In the top right margin, enter your word count. This lets the publisher know that you were conscientious of the guidelines set forth and your word count.
Use a spreadsheet to detail all of your submissions. Excel is a fantastic tool. List the name of the story, list the date submitted, and catalog the responses when you get them. Another option for those who do not have Excel, is GOOGLE spreadsheets.
I hope this helps when submitting submissions, now . . . . . . get to applying!

The Intro and More Work at Home Leads
Posted by: TRochelle in a full cup, blog talk live, bloggers, content writer, copy editor, copywriter, coupons refund cents, leads, short story writer, tutor, work at home, work at home mafiaIt has been a nice week this week. I got a shout out from the Mafia, I got a gang of coupons from my coupon fairy, found a new coupon buddy, got my Refund Cents Magazine and got to see my FREE ad for my blog, and started my podcast. I have done an intro show and talk about easy. BlogTalkLive is the bomb! It was as easy as talking on the phone. Maybe that's because I was talking on the phone. Either way, I had a lot of fun talking to the masses that I did not tell that I was going to do a podcast. I guess I will share some of my good fortune and go ahead and share my podcast. I know right, I am just too kind.
Believe it or not, there are actually people who do not know who T.Rochelle is and what this blog is all about. Its our duty to let them know that its..

How To Write How To
Posted by: TRochelle in communication contractor, demand studios, editor, ehow, foxnews, How to, how to write, podcast, smartbrief, tutorBreak out your notebooks guys!
How to articles are making a big buzz. They are very simple to write and I want to give you a quickie tutorial.
Rate your article on the level of difficulty (easy, moderately easy, etc.)
Think about your title. We will do an example (silly of course): How to Ride a Purple Monkey
First you will need to write an overview for your article. It should give the reader an idea of what they will learn.
Riding a Purple Monkey can be difficult. Learn to ride a Purple Monkey in 3 easy steps.
Once you are done with your overview, its time that you start getting busy with your steps. Each step will begin with a verb. Elaborate, but only give a brief elaboration on your step because you can make as many steps as you need.
Ex:
1. Place a saddle on your monkey. Saddles come in various sizes and colors. You will want to make sure that your saddle fits the monkey comfortably.
2. Tie the saddle tightly. Monkey are wiggly creatures and will run away if you don't tie your saddle properly.
3. Hop onto your monkey quickly. The monkey will want to escape so please hop quickly.
Now that you are done with your steps, you will want to think of any warnings you want to include or tips. If you do not have any, that's fine.
TIPS
Its best to use a purple monkey you know.
Warning
Monkeys bite!
Lastly, its always good to have really good links as a reference. Instead of giving an example of links, I will give you some GREAT links to help you get started and all the advantages of working for eHow.com.

Work at Home eHow Chat
Posted by: TRochelle in auditor, bloggers, demand studios, ehow, forum poster, make money online, medical billing, podcast, scorer, surveror, tutor, work at home, writer
Hey guys! Its another wonderful day. I know, I sound too cheery, you would to if you had finally started accomplishing things. I have started writing for eHow.com and so far I like it. I had been doing the same thing for a company called Demand Studios (and I am not stopping anytime soon), but with eHow.com you are paid residual income based on clicks and things like that. I had a very inspiring moment yesterday and just dived on the opportunity.
I know, it doesn't sound super exciting to you, but if you listen to this podcast with one of their major money makers named Maria, you would be a believer too. Maria gave me a whole new new outlook on work at home. You look at sites that pay this way and you think it might take too long to see a result. Once you hear how much can be made, you realize its worth the wait.
We work at home to control our own destiny, but then we limit ourselves. I refuse to limit myself any longer. If after hearing this podcast, you feel like eHow might be for you, then tune back in on tomorrow and I will show you exactly how to write an eHow article!
Its so easy, a telecommuter can do it! Yes, there are leads:
