Marketing Your Site and Work at Home Leads

Posted by: TRochelle in , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

As you guys all know, I (like many of you) have a blog. I am thinking of going forward with some serious marketing to get my name out. It got me to thinking about merchandising again. We touched on marketing when we discussed some good colors for marketing your website or brand. This time I want to discuss other ways to market your website or blog!

One way I was thinking of marketing my own blog was through the use of t-shirts, mousepads (send those to work with loved ones), cups, etc. This will get your name out and give your current followers a way to market for you and it won't cause you anything but some promotional items. This is a great way to get others to advertise for you for free!

If you are creative, you can have your logo placed on all kinds of promotional gear with catchy sayings. Imagine a t-shirt with a catch saying on it and in the corner of the back, your website or your logo. Its something people would not mind wearing and your information is not too intrusive so they would wear it anywhere.

Having your guests pay to view certain sections of your site is also a wonderful way to monetize your blog or website. For instance, let's say you have something that people will really want to know. Give them a preview of it and charge them to get more!

Donations are always a great way to make money on your site. If you love a site then its only natural to want to support them. People who believe in paying it forward will gladly support your cause.

Another way to market is to write a book. If people love what you have to say in your blog or website, they might want to see it in writing for those moments when they cannot get to a computer. This is a good method for a person who gives valuable information that might be great for the masses. You can self-publish through a company called Lulu. Who knows, you might be a great author and you don't even know it!

You could also get a sponsor! Imagine writing about something that you picked from a list and naturally writing about it, once you have written about it and inserted the necessary links, you get paid! Now imagine no more. These are called sponsored posts. Sponsored posts can bring in a nice amount of extra income.

I know what you are thinking, links would be useful. If that is your thought then maybe I might be able to market after all. I have just drawn you in and made you want to tune in tomorrow for more elaboration of some of these topics!

****Let me know if it worked!****

Meanwhile, get to applying!!!

Earth Day Freebies and Work at Home Leads

Posted by: TRochelle in , , , , , , , , , ,

Today's tip will be getting you ready for Earth Day! I want to share some of the deals and freebies that are available for Earth Day. What does this have to do with working at home? As work at home individuals, we often miss out on things that could benefit our household. Now if someone happens to give those things away and we can help the environment, I say go for it! Not to mention, Walgreens is giving away coupons that might be good for office organization supplies.

1. Amazon.com is having a sale on earth friendly products like wind generators, compost(ers), etc. all MONTH!

2. Reynolds Wrap is offering a free roll of recycled aluminum foil in the form of a REBATE ($3.99 and if you have the coupon from the Sunday paper then you are doing the dance of job because you have made money on this deal!).

3. The Disney Store is giving away a free Earth Day water bottle in exchange for 3 empty plastic bottles. Just take them into your local Disney Store and get your free Earth Day water bottle.

4. KB Homes is giving away a free ticket to see the movie EARTH! If you are a visitor to any KB Home Community between now and the 26th, you will receive two flyers redeemable online for tickets to see EARTH.

5. Walgreens is giving away free reusable tote with coupons, in lieu of Earth Day! The coupons are 15 percent off your purchase or 20 percent off Walgreens products.

6. Aveeno will also be giving away a free reusable tote along with a sample of Aveeno Envirosax.

7. O'Charleys is giving away a free strawberry lemonade for Administrative week but hey you might get thirsty while you are out getting all of your Earth Day goodies!

These are 7 of my favorite Earth Day giveaways! The best tip ever given is one that is given for free about free and shared freely!

Using Paypal and Daily Work at Home Leads

Posted by: TRochelle in , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Are you guys ready for another Podcast? I am ready so you have to be ready. Between now and tomorrow there will be a new Podcast. Don't forget to send in show suggestions so I can make sure you are listening to things you like, aside from my lovely voice of course. If you missed yesterday's tip then you missed a good tip for the novice work at home individual. Yesterday's Tip of the Day was about sending an invoice via Paypal. If you do not have a Paypal account yet, get one. You will find that there are a lot of jobs out there that pay via Paypal. Now, here is how to send an invoice via Paypal:

  • Click Request Money
  • Just below the Request Money tab you will notice an option that says Create An Invoice
  • You will now see a box that tells you to Select a Template.
  • If this is your first time, you will be creating a New Invoice
  • Enter all the necessary information. This will take seconds. If you are selling something and you want to add tax and shipping then that is an option, if you are just requesting money for services rendered then you will ignore that portion.
  • Click Continue, verify that your information is correct and Submit!

You will receive a receipt upon completion. Now just sit and wait on your money!

The Intro and More Work at Home Leads

Posted by: TRochelle in , , , , , , , , , , ,

It has been a nice week this week. I got a shout out from the Mafia, I got a gang of coupons from my coupon fairy, found a new coupon buddy, got my Refund Cents Magazine and got to see my FREE ad for my blog, and started my podcast. I have done an intro show and talk about easy. BlogTalkLive is the bomb! It was as easy as talking on the phone. Maybe that's because I was talking on the phone. Either way, I had a lot of fun talking to the masses that I did not tell that I was going to do a podcast. I guess I will share some of my good fortune and go ahead and share my podcast. I know right, I am just too kind.

Believe it or not, there are actually people who do not know who T.Rochelle is and what this blog is all about. Its our duty to let them know that its..

Work at Home Leads

Work at home leads out of the way, lets discuss how dangerous scams can be to our wallets. Here are a few lines to watch out for when looking for work from home:
Act now, only 2 positions left!
Listen to this automated message available for all!
No skills required. Make $2000 a week.
We are a sponsored advertiser on a legitimate site . . . buy now!
Hiring rebate processor
Virtual assistant $34/hr
Data entry $1000 a week
Verification specialist $14 an hour
Call this number for legitimate work at home opportunity. . . "Thank you for calling, this is a top secret thing that I am placing in a recording for everyone to hear but yet you, oh you are special. I want you to work for me doing something vague, possibly illegal and I need you to enter your account number at the sound of the beep. BEEP!

These are just a few of the many lies they use to scam those who work at home. Its a million if not billion dollar industry. There is money in scams but there is also jail time. You could face jail time for following their instructions and "scammers" could possibly go free. Its not fair but it is a harsh reality. For more of these tips on watching out for scams, join me and many others in T.Rochelle's Tips.
