Keeping in line with all my working at home on a budget tips, I wanted to shed light on GOOGLE Documents. Have you ever wanted to create a spreadsheet, but you do not have the necessary software? Now, how much would that software cost? Many employers have found a remedy for this problem and now its time that we remedy this problem for ourselves.

Google Documents give the user the ability to create simple documents using templates. You can create a letter, spreadsheet, or even a presentation. Your options are diverse. You can share this information with others in a webinar setting or just sharing information amongst friends. This is a terrific method for employers to interface with their employees and insure that all information is being transmitted in a compatible format.

Just today, I shared an online calendar with a friend. This type of scheduling coordination can be key when working at home. You are not limited to the amount of people who can see your documents. This gives you the freedom to collaborate and brain storm with others (in real time).

There is no reason to get upset because you left a very important document on your computer at home, you can access these documents form anywhere! Others can access your work from anywhere as well. You can also publish your documents as a web page! I belong to a coupon club that uses this method and its extremely convenient for me. I can just send the link to where I am going and never have to enter my passwords in atmospheres that I do not feel are comfortable.

Welcome everyone, its "Tea Time"! Many of the newer work at home individuals are not bothered by today being the dreaded APRIL 15th but some of us vets have waited until the absolute last second. I, for one, am not one of those people. I try and balance myself out to where I do not owe at the end of the year but its starting to look like the best way to balance my taxes is by making estimated tax payments to cover the next year's tax liability.

That sounds technical but believe me, sounding that way is as technical as it gets. When you are self employed or you are considered an independent contractor it is important that you estimate both your income tax as well as your self employment tax. To do this, divide your income tax (Line 43 on Form 1040) by your adjusted gross income (Line 73 on Form 1040). Your result will be your average tax rate. Add your average tax rate to the standard self-employment tax rate of 15.3%. To configure your estimated taxes, multiply the percentage by your quarterly net profit.

To find out if you are actually liable for taxes, look at your total tax (found on Form 1040, Line 62) and subtract that amount from your total withholding (found on Form 1040, Line 63). The total is your total unpaid tax liability.

This amount is best paid monthly, but if you prefer to pay quarterly, divide that total by four to see how much you should pay quarterly. Should you choose to pay monthly, divide that total by twelve.

Monthly is much better because the payment system will allow recurring payments. If you have a payment due, you can make payments online via the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System. Should you decide to mail your payments instead, use a Form 1040-ES.

We have all heard of Mary Kay parties, Avon parties, and Southern Living parties , but have you heard of The House Party? If you are anything like me you haven't.

The House Party is a website that lets you sign up for parties that are sponsored by a leading brand. The parties focus on things like new product, hit TV show, or worthy cause. It gives consumers the the ability to experience these items with friends.

Once you sign up on the website, you will receive email announcements linking to the online application. These emails are only sent when a new party is being launched. If an event catches your eye, fill out the application to be a host. They will review your application and respond upon completion. SPACES ARE LIMITED, not everyone will be chosen for every event they apply for but keep trying.

If you are chosen, you will get an email telling you step by step how to set up your party site. You will be told how to send email invitations to your guests, manage your RSVP’s, upload photos and videos, and how to join the national event party blog. There is also an area that teaches you how to gain access to great party resources.

Did I mention that its all free? A good friend of mine got a party kit that included Velveeta, Rotel tomatoes, and some of the nicest Velveeta containers when she had her House Party. Free cheese was enough for me so I am waiting to get in on the party too!

Hey guys! Its another wonderful day. I know, I sound too cheery, you would to if you had finally started accomplishing things. I have started writing for eHow.com and so far I like it. I had been doing the same thing for a company called Demand Studios (and I am not stopping anytime soon), but with eHow.com you are paid residual income based on clicks and things like that. I had a very inspiring moment yesterday and just dived on the opportunity.

I'm trying to get the word out more and more about working at home. With companies like Microsoft having major layoffs, its imperative that we keep more irons in the fire. Companies do not have a lot loyalty to their employees and its best that you try and get as many side jobs as possible. Remember the rule ......Never Pay to Work!

I got a response from one new job I applied for and unfortunately, I did not get the job. I did, however, get the kindest response in the world. It just encouraged me to keep trying. I have to continue since, like an idiot, I announced my resolution would be to write a book! I wonder if no one ever sees the book, if it still counts?

Maybe I should shift my focus? I could take pictures of everything I can cook(like the yummy cake above) and give them to people who made the resolution to lose weight. Once they break the resolution, maybe they will buy stuff from me. What? I am getting desperate here!

Times are hard and so is the ability to put your hands on money. I watch these snotty rich kids on television spending a MORTGAGE on their wardrobe and I sit and think...... I wish they would go broke. I know its evil, but its honest. Is it really evil that I want to see Paris Hilton destitute? She did not work for her money, I can be mean to her. I could see if she was out doing a lot of good and she actually saved her money and was a frugal person, but she is not.

Okay T, its time to stop hating on Paris and get your piece of the cake (no not pie, cake is bigger). I am going to keep trying to go and get that giant slice of cake but I still want to help you all get yours as well so.......
