Marketing 101 and Work at Home Leads

Marketing 101 tells us that people view things with their eyes and use eyes first to make a decision. Its been tested and proved that colors like red and yellow are great colors for people who are selling food because those colors make consumers hungry. It seems pretty ridiculous but its true. Why do you think those golden are more like yellow? You know what color ketchup is so I mean that's a given, right.

What colors work for your business? If you want your customers to feel like they are in a clean sterile environment and you want them to remain calm, white is the color for you. For serious, bold, authoritative, dramatic effects, you will want to use black (it has always worked for me lol). Gold is equally classy and suggests wealth. I do not suggest overdoing it because excessive amounts of gold can be a little overbearing and arrogant. Blue can be a tricky color. Although darker shades of blue are bold and strong colors that let a consumer know you know what you are doing and you are experienced and prosperous, lighter shades can be seen as clean and refreshing but too much can imply weakness. Colors like gray and silver are very conservative colors that imply that you are focused and goal oriented as well as goal driven. You believe in traditional methods. Speaking of traditional, green is the color of money and usually represents wealth, but it also can calm a consumer as well as represent jealousy (green with envy get it get it). Orange can excite the consumer and make them feel that they can afford whatever you are selling even though its somewhat pricey. Accompany this with some pink and your sells could increase rapidly. Pink represents innocence and a sense of wellness. Dark purple has always been a sign of royalty and wealth. Light purple on the other hand is much like pink and its romantic and alluring. Brown is a trustworthy color and makes people feel that you are solid and trustworthy. Finally red and yellow are next. Red makes the consumer anxious, hungry, passionate, and broke. Never use red when discussing money because it symbolizes debt. Yellow increases your metabolism and catches the eye. Always use yellow in small quantities because large amounts can be irritating.

Research a Work at Home Job and Freebies

I have been recouping from the mega sales over the weekend so my apologies for not posting. I just knew I needed to gather as much stuff as I could before I showed you some of my savings photos. I am serious about being frugal. I figure the best way to teach awareness is to lead by example. I am going to show you all how to live life frugally. I will also give you chances to enjoy the fruits of my frugality. I will be giving away free prizes as our journey continues.


Before I get too into our journey, lets talk about working at home for a moment. I always tell you that there are jobs out there but now I want to tell you how to search on your own. Message boards are always a good start with any job search but a lot of the work needs to be done by you. If you find a company that you have deemed questionable, Google it. Google is your friend. It will help you find all the information on a job you can possibly find. I will give you an example:

WESTatHome is the name of our questionable company. The site looks very professional but lets keep looking. Search Google for WESTatHome. Now change the search to West at Home scam, still good? Perfect! Do not stop there, search their website for a hiring section. If they are hiring for the same job on their website then you know you have a legit company and West is a legit company.

Now try this with envelope stuffing or rebate processing. Its not pretty. It is also not legitimate work and can land you in jail with a felony on your record.

Debbie Meyers Green Bag Review and Work at Home Leads

To take a little of the stress away from searching for work from home, I decided to add a product review segment, on Fridays. Guests can suggest products to be reviewed. There will also be reviews of restaurant menus, medication, toys, etc.

I will begin with a product that I find to be wonderful. Not every product will be favorable, but all reviews will be my honest and true opinion. Today's review is of Debbie Meyer's Green Bags. I haggled back and forth over whether or not to purchase these bags. On one hand, they could save me quite a bit of money by keeping my fruit and veggies fresh. On the other hand, I could be wasting my money on these worthless bags. I thought long and hard before I decided to go into a local store and purchase a box of my own. That was my first box.

I recently purchased another box of green bags, just in case I ran out. I always fear that a family member will come over and take one. Either that or, I will boast so much I end up feeling compelled to share with them. These bags are wonderful. I purchased some giant tomatoes 2 weeks ago and they still look as good as the day I bought them. They taste delicious and I have opened and closed the bag on several occasions. I also purchased soft tomatoes, as a bit of a hypothesis. I figured that soft tomatoes would surely mold and turn to mush. Not with the green bags! The tomatoes look exactly like the the firmer tomatoes.

I cannot say enough about these bags. This gets a huge thumbs up for me. I have estimated a savings of $18, thus far and the savings keeps growing. These bags work great with bananas, broccoli, carrots, peaches, you name it!
